On all modern Microsoft Windows Operating Systems you should
be able to use the automatic installation tool located on
the home page of this website, however the following
instructions show how our service can be configured manually
on a Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 Operating System:
1 - Windows NT requires Dial-up
Networking to be installed. To do this, double click the 'My
Computer' icon on the desktop.
2 - Double click the 'Dial-up
Networking' icon within the window that opens.
3 - A dialog box (shown below)
will open, click the 'Install' button.

4 - Once Dial-up Networking is
installed you may be prompted to restart the computer, if so
please restart the computer and redo steps 1 and 2 above.
Next a warning will be presented stating "the phonebook is
empty", Click 'OK' to add an entry.
5 - A dialog box will appear (as
shown below). In the 'Name the new phonebook entry' box type
the desired name for the connection. An example of this
would be to type 'Lush'. Click 'Next'.
6 - On the next screen tick all
three tick boxes, click 'Next'.
7 - A new dialog box will
appear. Type 08456043041 into the 'Telephone number' box
and leave 'Use Telephony dialing properties' unchecked.
Click 'Next'.
8 - A new dialog box will
appear. Select 'Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP)'. Click
'Next'.
9 - A new dialog box will appear
(as shown below), select 'None. Click 'Next'.
10 - A new dialog box will
appear. Leave the IP address as 0's. Click 'Next'.
11 - A new dialog box will
appear. Leave the DNS server and WINS server as 0's. Click
'Next'.
12 - The last phonebook entry
wizard dialog box will appear. Click 'Finish' on this
screen.
13 - The connection properties
will now be shown (as shown below). Click 'More' and select
'Edit entry and modem properties'.
14 - A new tabbed dialog box
will appear. Select the 'Server' tab at the top.
15 - Select 'PPP: Windows NT,
Windows 95 Plus, Internet' from the Dial-up server type box.
Also tick the TCP/IP box and leave all other boxes
unchecked. Click 'Next'.
16 - Click 'OK' to return to the
connection properties screen as referred to in step '13'.
Then click 'Dial'
17 - A final screen will now be
displayed. Type in the word 'lush' into the 'username' box
and 'password' box. Ensure the 'Save
Password' box is ticked. Click connect to connect to the
internet.
Your connection should now be
ready for use.
